The importance of being different members of the same body is emphasised in the various teams in Gideon Christian Ministries working hand in hand to propagate the Gospel. We have a number of ministries of which a member could join, subject to availability and meeting the required criteria.
Children & Youth's Ministry
This is an important ministry in every church. The aim is to ensure that with the challenges in the world and the impact that social media is having on the lives of our children are grounded in the Word of God for a secured future.
Relationship (Singles/Marriages) Counselling
Today a lot of relationships are strained, mainly from external pressures resulting in increased mental health issues.
At Gideon Christian Ministries we use the scripture to successfully mend relationships and encourage those that are about to enter a life long relationship of marriage.
Bible School & Teaching Ministry
The Bible Class and teachings undertaking by Pastor Ola is one of a kind. Focusing sctrictly on the scripture the exposition of the Word of God and application is brought into the hearts and mind of willing students and/or participants. We would likeyou to join as we Word of God becomes life.
Women's Ministry
Gideon Christian Ministries we recognise women as home builders - the Women’s Ministry seeks to transform women into mature, productive, joyful daughters of the King. For a woman to be transformed, she must have opportunities to see how God can use her. She must know her gifts and step out in faith expecting God to work through her. When she does, she experiences profound pleasure and usually surprise. God offer multiple opportunities for women to serve.
Pastoral Care & Community Support
A healthy Christian community is one in which people know that they are loved, visitors are welcome and young and old alike are valued and feel safe. The care that Gideon Christian Ministries offer, both at times of crisis and in everyday life is an active proclamation of God's love in Christ and for all the world.
Our Pastoral & Community Support team provides ensures we fulfil this important role.
Prayer Ministry
The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory. At Gideon Christian Ministries, we believe much can be achieved through the power of prayer.
